This full scale sculpture is a tribute to Laura's Appaloosa gelding "Willy" that graced our pastures from 1991-2024. View the building process YouTube video here.

First Catch

This yearling bald eagle is making it's "first catch" of a rainbow trout. Among the materials are fishing lures from Lake Superior and a cedar stump burl from Henry Ford's sawmill in Big Bay, MI. The wood contains a naturally occurring likeness to a young Bison.
